I’ve always had a certain respect and somewhat of a fascination for German culture. I guess I like functional and well thought through things. Also, I like order, even if I’m a pretty messy person.
This is what I have always been told about Germany and Germans: they are the most well organized of all and they have no sense of humor. Well, that second part is not true! At least judging by my experience in Hamburg.

So, I have this buddy of mine with whom I made a deal some years ago. That deal was that we would go every year on vacation to a different city around the world, no matter what. It would be our “like in the good old days” week, 7 to 9 days of just living the life and enjoying everything it has to offer without thinking about consequences.
